The principal inventor has over 30 years of experience in the agricultural machinery and heavy equipment industry.

 

His 40+ years of total experience include specifying, designing, testing, and supporting components such as vehicle chassis and suspensions, fuel tanks, hitch and drawbar, tire equipment, ROPS, electronic sensors, GPS receivers, and more. His work in reliability analysis greatly honed his “root cause” identification skills.

During that time, he did some hands-on work in field operations and saw firsthand the limitations of field implement positioning. As a result of his further work, he was awarded two US patents on combining articulation and side-shift in 3D mechanical systems used to control thrust and draft loads. There are far more applications for this technologies than agriculture, however. Those patents are incorporated in the products evolving from ArtiShift developments in numerous fields. The all-terrain axle is a perfect example.
